Murciélagos
The Murciélagos installation consisted of 9 human sized bats hanging upside down from the ceiling of the SFMOMA Artists Gallery. After shipping the materials to San Francisco, I built and installed the bats in 3 days. They are constructed of wire frames with pleather wrapping and miscellaneous heads made from spray painted stuffed animals, gas & welding masks, and antlers.
