Arthur Futurus
Arthur Futurus: Lands & Legends is a collaborative book produced by students and faculty of the Utah Valley University Art & Design department. The legend of King Arthur has permeated Western society. Its myths, interspersed throughout the United Kingdom, have influenced international culture. In the spring of 2017, UVU students and faculty explored these fabled lands. Traveling throughout the United Kingdom, they immersed themselves in the legend, creating art inspired by and about the ethos of King Arthur. Arthur Futurus was included in the 2018 AIGA 100 Show in Salt Lake City Utah, which showcases the 100 best designs in Utah. Utah’s most prestigious juried competition honors and showcases the year’s best design. Arthur Futurus also won Best of Division in the Student category, and first place in Book and Post- Secondary Student categories in the 2019 Prints Rocks competition. PrintROCKS! is the Northwest Print Competition.
